We’re headed to AWS re:Invent 2018 in Las Vegas from November 26-30. We’ll be showcasing the latest advances in our data lake governance and security platform, and we’re announcing a significant new access control innovation with live demonstrations at booth #138 during the show.

The Okera Active Data Access Platform is a unified platform that allows users to actively manage fine-grained access control (FGAC) of data in a flexible and agile manner. The core components of the product include cataloging, access control, auditing, and compliance.

Participating at AWS re:Invent 2018 and announcing additional data management innovation builds on our company’s momentum from the recent release of the Okera Active Data Access Platform. The previous product release in September 2018 introduced the ability to secure and govern data from relational databases and enhanced security and governance controls to enable flexible and scalable stewardship models.

“The AWS ecosystem is home to some of the most exciting big data innovations in the world, and we’re proud to be advancing the state-of-the-art in data lake security and governance to make our customers more successful,” said Amandeep Khurana, Okera CEO and co-founder. “Participating at AWS re:Invent 2018 is an opportunity to showcase how our platform allows for enhanced business agility for Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) data lake customers so they can gain greater value from their data.
