Live Webinar

When: Thursday October 20th, 2022

Time: 10 am PDT

Do you love security as much as we do? Do you stay up at night pondering thoughts to the following questions? What is the relationship between cyber security and data security? What are some of their similarities and differences? How can data security help reduce my organization’s cyber risk? How should we think about these topics in the context of a modern data world?

Join Meera Shankar (Okera) and Sanjeev Mohan (SanjMo) for an engaging and interactive discussion that will celebrate Cyber Security Awareness Month, and dive into these questions.

Meera Shankar

Meera joins us from Splunk, where she spent nearly six and a half years serving as a leading voice for Splunk security, presenting at numerous industry and technical partner conferences, and hosting webinars for internal and external audiences. Through her early work, Meera became the face of Splunk’s security partner organization. In her later years at Splunk, she channeled her relationships across the company to identify and treat cyber threats via risk management, policy, and training and awareness. In her previous life, Meera worked in market research for The Clorox Company. It was there she learned a valuable lesson: her most successful weeks at work are ones in which she laughs and learns something new at least twice a day.

Meera holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University, and an M.B.A. from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. In her spare time, Meera evangelizes her love of basketball, music, food and wine, her nieces/nephews, and her dog – to just about anyone who will listen.
